We stayed a night at this B&B while heading home from St. The Galleon is nicely located in the heart of the downtown district close to the harbor and walking distance to Yacht Haven. The views from the room are very nice, overlooking the harbor. While there are some steps down to shopping district or up to the B&B, it is not as bad as some previous reviewers implied.

A little exercise never hurt anyone. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice and adequate. Many travelers there kept bags at the check in desk when arriving early or leaving late, without a problem, including ourselves.

The facilities could use some TLC. Our screen door had a broken screen. The bed could be a bit better. But the location is good, the price reasonable and that makes this a good stop for a night and explore Charlotte Amalie. More Show less.
