'Wielder of the Grandark.' Fearful of the strength of the ancient demons, the remaining demon races banded together and formed a league to annihilate the ancient demons and began the fight with a surprise attack. The intense fighting continued for a long time with no end in sight. Amid the war, Duel, the master of the magical sword Eclipse, joined the war, taking it into a whole new direction.

Take up the challenge and face true high-stakes platforming in Jump King! Struggle upwards in search of the Smoking Hot Babe of legend, but explore with care; a single missed jump could lead to a long fall back down. Jumpking.

There's quite a few differences between the 2. Not sure how much of either game you know so I'll just say, they're both made by the same developer company (KoG). Grand Chase is the older of the 2 games, existing since 2003 (Based on the Korean Server) while Elsword has been around since about 2007/2008(Again, based off the Korean server). Grand Chase is completely 2D while Elsword is 2.5D.Character wise, Grand Chase has 20 different characters while Elsword has 9 currently(10 in the Korean server very soon, though that one is a Duo character). For Grand Chase, 10 of the 20 have 4 Jobs each that are independent of each other, providing a different playstyle for each one, 7 of which have their jobs be expansions of themselves, and 1 of which has 2 different paths, depending on what you prefer. For the former 10, once you unlock the job class, you're free to use whichever one you like and are not limited to the latest one.Elsword's characters each have 3 Job Paths that vary differently from each other. However they're job advancements are extensions of themselves, similar to the 7 I mentioned for Grand Chase.

Once you pick a path, you're stuck on it unless you pay cash to change classes, or make a new character.Another thing to note is that for Grand Chase, all characters are under 1 IGN. For Elsword, all characters have a separate ign for each one made. This means it's possible to make 3 of one character to use all their jobs, or even make more because you can.IMO, try both games out. Both are good in their own right, and I enjoy playing both as well. Originally posted by:Are they both reliant on spending money? I just tried out Grand Chase for the first time, and I noticed that you cannot unlock 90% of your special skills without paying real world cash for them. Am I missing something?

Or are the games ACTUALLY pay to win? Grand chase is not pay to win, infact pretty much the best armor set in the game is free.

I didn'tspend anything and I still can do absoutely fine. You CAN spend money and get slightly more powerful, but it isnt pay to win.
